The ever closing door, a fluttering of wings and what it means to me.

Am I a slave to my former self? Or will i find power in all my flaws?
I love you and I don’t know what to do with myself, I’m but nerve endings and chemicals imbalanced.
The weight of the footsteps put my teeth to the limestone.

I went to see the forgery
I wept at its’ ability to collapse all my sense on themselves.
Don’t you love the way the colors bleed? And the echoes ring of blasphemy
On the marble halls of ancient history?

To my matriarchal fantasy free of all the things i’ve learned and the
Exhaustion that you earned.
